Built in 1895 as Atlanta’s first woman’s club, it has been well cared for through the years and is a national, state and city historical landmark. The Club resides in the Wimbish Mansion, one of the last remnants of the “Old South” on Peachtree Street and has served as a stage for several major motion movie pictures. The Club was also recently featured on GPTV’s, “Peachtree Street – Take Another Look“. Atlanta Woman’s Club Member, Donna Foland is interviewed about the Club’s service and support to Hope-Hill Elementary. See video below.
